Gosford - Race 6 3.10pm AEST
Seine Net just died on her run late to finish third at Kembla Grange last start and she should be ready to peak over the mile fourth-up this afternoon. On her best form she does have a clear edge over the rest of this field and she maps to get a lovely trail into this race just behind the leaders with Brenton Avdulla in the saddle.
Gosford - Race 7 3:50pm AEST
Tim’s Principal made his debut for new trainer Jeremy Gask with a fast-finishing effort at Scone and he should take plenty of improvement from what was his first race start for over a year. He doesn’t need to get as far back from barrier three this afternoon and if he can replicate his first-up effort he will be tough to beat.
Pakenham - Race 3 1.30pm AEST
Belichick almost lost his rider last start at Pakenham, but he was still only denied a maiden race win and he finds himself in a very winnable contest this afternoon. He maps to get a lovely run in transit with Damian Lane in the saddle and he may never have a better chance to record a maiden race win.
Pakenham - Race 8 4.00pm AEST
Careering Away has always showed promise without really delivering and he was finally able to breakthrough for a maiden race win last start. This race really isn’t tougher and it wouldn’t surprise to see him string together a few wins together. Jamie Mott is riding in excellent form and he will be aggressive on the Hard Spun gelding.
