Daily Greyhound Tips – Thursday 2nd July

The Ladbrokes Daily Greyhound Tips are available below as we attempt to find winners from races right across the country. Every day of the week you can find three tips including our best of the day and two other bets that we are confident will get the job done. Albion Park - Race 6 8:25pm AEST No. 2 Blazing Cartier Velocity Bettina goes into the Queensland Cup as a deserving favourite, but there isn’t as much between her and Blazing Cartier as the current market suggests. Blazing Cartier was beaten as favourite last start, but her form before that was excellent and she has run well at Group 1 level in the past. Bet Now: Albion Park Race 6 Albion Park - Race 8 9:13pm AEST No. 8 Simon Told Helen The Brisbane Cup is packed full of stars and there are a host of winning chances. There is an argument to be made that Simon Told Helen is the best greyhound in the country and he can return to winning form. He has already won the Silver Chief and Harrison Dawson this year and

Royal Randwick Preview – Saturday 4th July

There is no black type racing in Sydney this weekend, but a strong nine-race card will take place at Royal Randwick . The rail will be set out four metres around the entire course and inclement weather has led to the track being rated in the heavy range. Race 1 - 11:35am Newhaven Park Handicap (1300m) Tejori has been racing well this preparation and looms as a winning chance in the first, at a nice price ($9 at publish). The Hinchinbrook filly recorded consecutive wins at Canberra and in a Highway race here at Randwick when resuming. She finished a length and a half fifth two back and mustered a nice turn of foot late to fill the minors over 1200m last time out. The small rise in trip should suit and I like that Nick Olive is mixing things up a little with her. 1 Unit E/W Tejori Bet Now: Royal Randwick Race 1 Race 2 - 12:10pm Highway Handicap (1000m) This is a particularly open Highway race and there’s a case to be made for many of these country sprinters. Bad Bo

2020 Rocket Mortgage Classic Preview

The second edition of the Rocket Mortgage Classic tees off on Friday with a handful of the world’s top golfers descending upon the Detroit Golf Club in Michigan.  Following Dustin Johnson’s return to the winners circle last week at TPC River Highlands, golf bettors will again be looking to cash in on a few familiar names.  Bryson DeChambeau and last fortnight’s RBC Heritage Classic winner Webb Simpson look the main dangers, while Jason Day remains the top Australian chance. If you fancy a bet this weekend, be sure to read our entire 2020 Rocket Mortgage Classic Preview below.  2020 Rocket Mortgage Classic Best Bet Tyrell Hatton – $15.00 The Englishman is probably over the odds at the $15.00 quote considering he finished T3 a fortnight ago at Harbour Town. Hatton also ranks second in strokes gained: putting and 10th in greens found during regulation, while it’s easy to forget he won the Arnold Palmer Invitational back in March. All of that plus the added two week rest advan

2020 Bright Shadow Day Preview

Race 1 - 11:43am Class 3 Plate (1200m) Garibaldi is facing a massive drop in grade from a sixth in the Group 3 Fred Best Classic (1350m) at Doomben to a Class 3 and will be hard to beat. Broken Arrows has been racing in Saturday class in Sydney and heads North following his seventh in a 1000m Randwick BenchMark 78 Handicap and looks well placed here. For My Annie was very unlucky first up on a heavy track when a narrow second in a 900m Gold Coast BenchMark 65 Handicap and has won over 1200m in the past and Chico Milagro is stepping up in grade following his five and a quarter lengths Maiden win at Ipswich. 2 Units Garibaldi Bet Now: Eagle Farm Race 1 Race 2 - 12:18pm BenchMark 78 Handicap (2212m) Galtero set the pace before running second in a 2200m Eagle Farm BenchMark 80 Handicap on Stradbroke Handicap Day and will be in it for a long way again. Stardome is coming off a fourth in a 2200m Doomben BenchMark 80 Handicap but meets Galtero worse at the weights this wee

2020 Flemington Finals Day Preview

Flemington Finals Day is always a highly entertaining and high-quality day of racing, and nine events will be contested at HQ on Saturday. The rail will remain in the true position around the entire course and we are likely to be racing on a track rated in the soft range. Race 1 - 11:50am AAMI Next Generation Sprinters Series Final (1200m) Jabali Ridge has stripped fitter for two starts this time and is ready to do something at Flemington on Saturday. The two-year-old son of Jabali stamped himself as a horse to follow during his debut prep and was unlucky to just miss a place when resuming this time at Caulfield. He returned a flat effort at The Valley last time, but I am happy to forgive that run and importantly, he has form down the straight. 2 Units E/W Jabali Ridge Bet Now: Flemington Race 1 Race 2 - 12:25pm Lexus Banjo Patterson Series Final (2600m) Chapada appears to have returned to his best form recently and the Banjo Patterson Series Final looks a lovely

Daily Racing Tips – Cranbourne Special

Cranbourne - Race 3 2:00pm AEST No. 6 Toff Choice Toff Choice will need some luck in running from the wide barrier draw, but he is still over the odds at his current quote. He showed some upside during his maiden racing campaign and he generally raced in stronger company than this. On exposed form, he has an edge over the rest of this field and he has an excellent chance to claim a maiden race win. Bet Now: Cranbourne Race 3 Cranbourne - Race 4 2:30pm AEST No. 6 Ajay's Ace Ajay’s Ace will return to the races in a very winnable contest at Cranbourne this afternoon. She finished an unlucky second in her second race start and she still has the upside to improve on that level. Barrier four is ideal and she maps to get a lovely run in transit with the underrated Jamie Mott in the saddle. Bet Now: Cranbourne Race 4 Cranbourne - Race 5 3:00pm AEST No. 4 Vladivostok Vladivostok doesn’t win out of turn, but he finds himself in a very winnable contest at Cranbourne
