Daily Sports Tips – Monday 1st October

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Baltimore Ravens
10.20am AEST

Over 50 Total Points

In the rough and tumble AFC North, the teams are traditionally known for their defensive prowess but this matchup has brought us plenty of shootouts as of late. Last year in Pittsburgh the Steelers pulled out an exciting 39-38 win and a 2016 Christmas Day showdown also ended up being a shootout. Due in large part to a stuttering defence, Pittsburgh games have gone over in each of the first three weeks while Baltimore went over in weeks one and two, just falling short against Denver last week. Whoever wins this game will likely need to get to 30 points at least so back the over in this one.

Celta Vigo vs Getafe
5.00am AEST

Celta Vigo to Win @ $2.05

It has been four weeks since Celta Vigo last won a match, 2-0 over a 10-man Atletico Madrid but they enter this match as favourites after picking up back to back draws. Their opponents, Getafe are coming off a 1-1 draw against Alaves. The last two meetings between these sides at the Balaidos have ended in draws however it has been a very long time since Getafe last won away from home in this fixture.

Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace
5.00am AEST

Under 2.5 Goals @ $2.05

The Bournemouth bubble has well and truly burst after this humbling defeat at the hands of Burnley last weekend. Palace on the other hand will be disappointed to have dropped points at Newcastle but a scoreless draw was not the worst outcome for a side looking to build some momentum going forward. Neither side can be overly confident in their goal scorers with Palace finding the back of the net just twice in their last five games while Bournemouth have been held scoreless in two of their last three games. Expect a cagey, low scoring contest where a solitary goal from one side could very well be enough to win it.
