For defensive end Dante Fowler, this week’s trade to the Los Angeles Rams has put him rght back to the front of the line for another run at the Super Bowl.
There’s nothing like competition to bring out the best in an athlete, but often, playing alongside better players means sacrificing personal numbers.
Bovada seems to be taking that into account in the impact Fowler will have in its prop bet on how many sacks he will accumulate the rest of the season with the Rams.

Bovada has set the bar at five in this prop wager, which might be asking a lot.
Fowler only recorded two sacks in eight games with the Jaguars, leaving him with three to obtain as a Ram. Not exactly what the Rams were hoping for in acquiring the former first-round pick.

Fowler Facing Stiff Competition to get Sacks
Perhaps the biggest challenge Fowler faces in LA is a similar dilemma to the one he dealt with last season in Jacksonville. The internal competition to get to the other team’s QB will be fierce.
He collected eight sacks for the 2017 Jaguars, a solid performance that was dwarfed by the 14.5 sacks posted by teammate Calais Campbell, and the 12 sacks recorded by Jags DE Yannick Ngakouwe.
Right in the heart of the LA defensive front is reigning NFL defensive player of the year Aaron Donald, and Donald leads the NFL with 10 sacks. He’s on pace to shatter both the club (11.5) and NFL (18) marks for sacks by a defensive tackle.
Fowler’s most daunting task in LA might be trying to get to the QB before Donald does.
