Daily Racing Tips – Monday 1st July

Muswellbrook - Race 1 11:45pm AEST

No. 11 Emperor’s Star

Emperor’s Star produced a promising effort debut over 900 metres at Muswellbrook and she finds herself in a fairly weak contest at the same venue this afternoon. She has drawn wide, but she does have the early speed to take up a forward position with Grand Buckley in the saddle. She is well-placed to claim a maiden race win.

Muswellbrook - Race 9 4:35pm AEST

No. 7 Star Alibi

Star Alibi missed the start on debut, but was able to work her way back into the race and she showed a very impressive turn-of-foot in the concluding stages to score a classy win. She clearly has plenty of upside and I like the fact that she has been kept at the same track and distance.

Tatura - Race 5 2:20pm AEST

No. 1 Abundance

It has been a while between race starts for Abundance, but he did show some talent during his maiden racing campaign and this is far from the strongest race. He will likely settle in the second half of the field, but he does possess a turn-of-foot and he can finish over the top of his rivals late.

Tatura - Race 6 2.50pm AEST

No. 4 J’Adore

J’Adore won on debut at Morphettville and proved that was no fluke with a credible effort behind Dame Of Thrones over the same course and distance. She still has plenty of upside and she maps to get a lovely run in transit just behind the speed with Joe Bowditch in the saddle. She can make a winning return to the races.
