Daily Racing Tips – Sunday 1st September

Devonport - Race 3 1:30pm AEST

No. 1 Harriman

Harriman has recorded three second place finishes on the trot and this is his chance to return to winning form. He has been beaten far in any of those race starts and Chris Graham should be able to control the race in the early stages of this contest. He will prove tough to run down late.

Devonport - Race 6 3:15pm AEST

No. 1 Gee Gee Double Dee

Gee Gee Double Dee has form around some of the best horses in Tasmania like Mystic Journey, Life On The Wire and Lord Da Vinci. This is the weakest race that she has contested in some time and on her best form she does have a genuine edge over the rest of this field.

Devonport - Race 7 3:52pm AEST

No. 5 Geegees Rock Opera

Geegees Rock Opera has finished second in her two race starts this campaign and she is well-placed to return to winning form in this contest. She clearly likes the Devonport racing surface and she maps to get a lovely trail into this contest with Peter Lui in the saddle.

Devonport - Race 8 4:27pm AEST

No. 4 Varekai

Varekai has produced all of his best form at Devonport and his two previous race wins have come at this track. This is a weaker race that what he contested last start and he maps to get the run of the race just behind the leaders with Daniel Ganderton in the saddle.
