Mr Fixit’s Top Tips: Goals on cards in big derbies

IT was a fairly typical Saturday for me and pretty much a break-even day thanks to Liverpool completing my Top Treble.

That gave me a 7pts winner on Liverpool, Man City and Bayern Munich to win with over 2.5 goals in the three games.

Made up for an agonising defeat on the moneyback special with a 22pts win torn away late on as first Chelsea then Rotherham conceded late equalisers.

My other two trebles and the St Johnstone Super Single were losers so it all added up to a 51.3pts profit on the accas for August and 2pts down on the Super Singles.

At the start of the month I'd have bitten your hand off for those figures but with a little bit of luck in the past week I could have been closer to the 100pts mark.

Well done to all the winners on another Saturday where it's all about narrowing down your shortlist and selecting the right ones.

Greg did that perfectly with two winners out of two while HullShaker's Nap landed. Desmond was a goal away from a nice winner on his over 2.5 goals treble and Scott's both to score treble came in at night.

On Sunday the big game is Rangers v Celtic in the Premiership. I've posted a match preview here.

In England there is another big derby between Arsenal v Spurs while Everton entertain Wolves.

Big games on the Continent include the Rome derby, Villarreal v Real Madrid and Marseille v St Etienne.

Plenty to look at and I'm starting with a both to score treble. Have tipped goals in the Old Firm clash so will include that and also Arsenal v Spurs with four of the last five bringing up this market. Add Villarreal v Real Madrid where four out of five have produced more than 3,5 goals including three 2-2 draws.

Loads of punters lost out on Saturday due to cash-out problems and we've posted on this. Bookies are covered when hit by technical problems but still worth contacting them if you feel cheated.
