HullShaker’s Tips – Ricay welcome Wealdstone’s Raiders

IT'S a tight card as Mr Fixit says but whilst the weather may be grim up North, I'm looking towards the beautiful South for a bit of a ding dong on the Essex riviera…

I know we've got a couple of Wealdstone fans on the site but I'm not sure if we are in the presence of this terrace legend:

Not only do Wealdstone posess fans of this extraordinary calibre, the players themselves are flying high and sit in pole position; 37 points from 15 games sees them 7 clear of their nearest rivals Weymouth with a game in hand to add into the mix!

A visit to Billericay's AGB area is no easy trip though and the hosts themselves are steady away with their usual home advantage scooping the majority of points – they have 2-3 games inhand on most of their divisional rivals and maximum points would see them bang in the middle of the play-off places where they ought to be.

Well worth noting that whilst ‘Ricay are unbeaten in 4 on home soil and have scored 3-5-4-2 goals in the process, they have conceded exactly 2 goals in each of those last 4 encounters and 14 in their last consecutive 6 games both home and away; similarly to last season, they are a cracking side but their kryptonite is a defensive vulnerability.

I've looked at a number of angles for betting and suspect that away goals potentially offer the best value; H2Hwise, Wealdstone have hit 1-0-5-2-2 team goals and head into this one with form, a fag and half a pint of lager…like the Raider himself says, “you want some?”
