Updated 2020 Super Bowl Odds for All 12 Teams in NFL Playoffs: Ravens Favored

  • Baltimore finishes with 14-2 record and listed as +210 favorite to win Super Bowl 54
  • Niners, Chiefs next up with +400 odds of winning championship in 2020
  • Saints slip to wild card position and are intriguing +600 underdogs

The Baltimore Ravens completed a record-setting regular season and now head into the playoffs as the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

The Ravens wrapped up the season at 14-2 — the best record in the entire league — and are still listed as the favorites to win the Super Bowl in 2020.

BetOnline released its latest Super Bowl odds, which shows the Ravens at +210 to win the championship.

Are the Ravens the best bet going into the playoffs or will another top seed emerge as Super Bowl champs in 2020?

Super Bowl 54 Odds

Team Odds at BetOnline
Baltimore Ravens +210
San Francisco 49ers +400
Kansas City Chiefs +400
New Orleans Saints +600
Green Bay Patriots +1000
New England Patriots +1000
Philadelphia Eagles +2500
Seattle Seahawks +2500
Minnesota Vikings +3300
Houston Texans +4000
Tennessee Titans +4000
Buffalo Bills +5000

Odds taken on Dec. 30th

The Ravens were +225 favorites on average heading into the final week of the regular season, but their odds improved following a 28-10 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

When the Super Bowl 54 odds were initially released at in February, the Ravens were a +2733 long shot across all sportsbooks. However, Lamar Jackson’s MVP-worthy season has guided the Ravens to first place in the conference.

The road to a Super Bowl won’t come easy for Baltimore even though the club finished 10-2 against AFC opponents this season. Although the top-seeded Ravens will enjoy a first-round bye, the team will likely have to play the Buffalo Bills or Houston Texans in the divisional round.

Which Top Seed Has Best Shot?

Of the remaining top-seeded teams, the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers have the next best shot to win the Super Bowl in 2020, coming in at +400 on BetOnline’s board.

The Niners finished at 13-3, and head into the postseason as the No. 1 seed in the NFC. When the Super Bowl odds first opened in February, San Francisco was listed as a +3433 underdog across all sportsbooks. However, the 49ers strong offense, which averaged a second-best 29.9 points for per game, was a major factor in the team’s success this season.

Kansas City also look like serious a Super Bowl contender, having reeled off six straight wins to end the season. At 12-4, the Chiefs also earned the second seed in the AFC and a first-round bye.

The Green Bay Packers are also a top seed in the NFC, but the team has holes in its offense that will be magnified when the playoffs begin.

Saints Are Wild Card Team Worth Betting On

New Orleans opened at +917 when the odds were first released and following an injury that kept quarterback Drew Brees out of the lineup for seven weeks, the Saints were as long as +1000 on average.

In BetOnline’s latest odds, New Orleans is listed at a very enticing price of +600 to win Super Bowl 54.

They say defense wins championships and while the Saints are respectable in that regard, the team boasts a stellar offense which has averaged fifth-best 27.7 points for per game this season.

The Saints finished 13-3 and may have slipped to a wild card spot, but the team is more than capable of beating the best teams in the NFL. New Orleans will start the playoffs at home against the Vikings and then could play the No. 2 Packers in the Divisional Round — both very winnable games for Brees and Co.

It’s pretty obvious that the defending champion Patriots (+1000) will be the wild card team bettors will be putting money on leading up to the playoffs. However, after the Pats faltered in their regular-season finale against the Miami Dolphins, are they actually worth the bet?

Even if Tom Brady and the Patriots sneak past the Tennessee Titans in the wild card round, they’ll have to face the Kanas City Chiefs at Arrowhead the following week.

The Saints could have a straight path to the Super Bowl. The fact that Brees watched from the sidelines for half of the season means the soon-to-be 41-year-old quarterback will be ready to make a run for another championship this season.

Pick: New Orleans Saints (+600)
