Daily Sports Tips – Wednesday 1st April

Vitalii Kobets v Yevhenii Sokoltsov
4.00pm AEDT

Sokoltshov to Win @ $1.50

Even though recent form and history suggests this one will be a close one, I still feel like Sokoltsov is pretty good value to win this one.

His recent results haven’t been great, winning just two of his last five but he is more than capable of catching fire and getting on another hot streak.

He has defeated Kobets twice this week already by a score of 3 games to 2 but I’ll play it safe and just take him for an outright win.

Shakhtyor Soligorsk vs Yunost Minsk
3.30am AEDT

60 Minutes Betting: Yunost to Win @ $1.91

This is it for Yunost, after a tense overtime win in Game 3, they can claim the Belarusian Extraliga with a victory in Game 4.

I’m going to go back to the well from yesterday’s play and back them to get the job done in 90 minutes, Game 3 felt like the last stand for Shakhtor.

It would only be fitting for the side that was far and away the best team in the competition all season to win it in convincing fashion here.

Phil Taylor vs Raymond van Barneveld
7.00am AEDT

van Barneveld to Win @ $2.65

Not only will this clash give us one more taste of darts’ best rivalry but it’s also a perfect sign of just how far technology has come.

Without going into the minutiae of this, these two will face off in their own homes, playing with “smart” boards and communicating via video chat.

This one should be a pick in every sense of the word so I’ll happily jump on van Barneveld as a decently priced underdog.
