Race 1 - 12:50pm
Ten juveniles will step out in Race 1 at Kensington on Wednesday and of those horses, only half have raceday experience.
With a view towards something later in the season, I am happy to stay out of this race from a betting perspective.

Race 2 - 1:25pm
It is a similar prospect in Race 2, however I was impressed by Shadow Chaser’s last-start effort and he looks up to breaking his maiden on Wednesday.
The Super One colt needed the run when he finished midfield behind Kinloch on debut, but only just missed when a nose second to April Storm last time out, and there’s no doubt he’ll enjoy further improvement for that effort.

Rules Don’t Apply hasn’t been seen at the races since February, but she looked a filly on ability during her debut prep and can make a winning return on Wednesday.
The daughter of Dissident finished fourth on debut at Kembla Grange in December, filling the minors behind classy stable mate Miyake and placing in two subsequent starts.
She’s had the benefit of a lovely trial in the lead-up to this and looks ready to go.

Race 4 - 2:35pm
This looms as one of the better contests on Wednesday’s Kensington card and there is a case to be made for several.
One of those horses is Snowzone, who will relish a decent drop in grade and will enjoy improvement off his first-up effort at Rosehill.
It was an ambitious target to say the least, and the Snitzel gelding finished five lengths off Adelong a couple of weeks ago, form which has since been franked by that horse winning again.
In-form apprentice Louise Day takes the ride from barrier 2, and the horse will also get some relief in the weights.

Race 5 - 3:10pm
Race 5 is shaping as another wide-open affair and I am eager to have a small each-way play on Californiafirebird.
Californiafirebird has been a good horse throughout his racing career and is as though as they come.
The Fastnet Rock gelding found form around some classy types last time in, and there was a lot to like about the way he hit the line to finish fourth behind Kateru when resuming a couple of weeks ago.
He’ll take good improvement for that effort and is up to winning something of this quality.

Race 6 - 3:45pm
Maggie Miss has performed well around some good horses this time and strikes a winnable contest at Randwick-Kensington on Wednesday.
The Medaglia D’oro mare ran second at each of her first two starts back from a spell, both in Wednesday metro company, before filling the minors behind the classy Earth Song here last time out.
Fourth-up, drawn ideally and with a fitness edge over a couple of her key rivals, I think she’ll take beating.

Race 7 - 4:20pm
Brazen Gem has returned to the races in terrific order this time and looms as the one to beat in the last race.
The Brazen Beau filly was an easy winner when first-up at Goulburn but franked that performance with another lovely win in a tougher race at Hawkesbury last time out.
This is harder again, but she harbours good upside, will be ridden by Hugh Bowman and can continue her rise through the grades.
