2020 Super Rugby Round 10 Preview

This is the final round of the Super Rugby Australia regular season and one place in the finals is still up for grabs.

The Brumbies will finish on top of the ladder and the Reds have locked up second, but the final position in the finals will be decided when the Rebels take on the Force this weekend.

We have analysed both games set to take place this weekend and our complete 2020 Super Rugby Australia Round 10 tips can be found below.

Rebels Vs Western Force

Saturday 5 September, 3:00pm, McDonald Jones Stadium

The Rebels have their fate in their own hands.

If they win this clash, they will set-up a Qualifying Final clash with the Reds, but a loss will give that finals berth to the Waratahs and another chapter will be added to Rebels dishonour roll of chokes.

The Rebels go into this clash as clear favourites and they really should have no issues getting the job done.

In saying that, the Rebels confidence was sure to have taken a hit after they failed to lock up a finals spot against the Waratahs last weekend.

The Force look set to finish the Super Rugby Australia season without recording a win and they have definitely shown signs of tiredness in recent weeks.

This is a big chance for the Rebels and I expect them to, finally, take advantage.

Reds Vs Brumbies

Saturday 5 September, 7:20pm, Suncorp Stadium

This could be a genuine Super Rugby Australia Grand Final preview and neither side really have anything to play for.

There was only two points between these two sides when they met earlier this season and the market suggests that this clash will be just as close.

The Brumbies have lost only a single game this season and there is no doubt that they are the team to beat in this competition.

They are always a safe bet as favourites and they will be keen to make a statement heading into the Grand Final.

The Reds have made some big strides during Super Rugby Australia and, aside from a horror performance against the Waratahs last month, they have played some consistent rugby.

Suncorp Stadium has been a happy hunting ground for them, but they are a team that generally do struggle as underdogs.

Backing the Brumbies continues to be a profitable play in Super Rugby and I’m not willing to bet against them in this clash.
