It isn’t just their own fans that Penrith are giving plenty to cheer about this season – it’s also Ladbrokes punters.

The Panthers took another big step towards the minor premiership by beating Wests Tigers in Round 16; a performance that also resulted in some mammoth collects, including a 12K bet at a 12.5-point line.

2021 holds bright prospects for the Gold Coast Titans, and that was certainly underlined by their tough performance and win over St George in Round 16.

FIRST TRY FILL UP

There wasn’t one.

Justin Olam is worthy of a mention. He opened the scoring with the first of his three tries in Melbourne’s clash with Manly, but with so much try scoring potential in the Storm’s backline, the result was cancelled out by the interest garnered by several of his teammates.

LEGENDARY LAND

One punter pulled off two outstanding two-leggers in Round 16.

Our punter in question firstly coupled together Hudson Young and Nelson Asofa-Solomona to score tries at any time, laid down $50 at $37.63 and was rewarded with a handy win of $1872.50.

Apparently not content with that result however, he dove back in with a particularly bold multi of Raymond Faitala-Mariner and Addin Fonua-Blake to score at any time, laying down another $50, this time at odds of $70.58.

BACKING THE FUTURE

Souths made a statement with their thrashing win over the Eels on Thursday night, leading to the only moves in Futures betting this week.

The Bunnies firmed $21 into $17, while Paramatta drifted $6 out to $8.50.

PREMIERSHIP MOVES

Rabbitohs – $21 > $17
Eels – $6 < $8.50
