Wednesday’s metropolitan meet in Sydney will take place at Warwick Farm and seven races will be contested.
The rail will remain in the true position and we’ll be racing on a track rated in the good range.
Race 1 - 1:25pm
There isn’t a lot of exposed for to divulge ahead of race one, but I’ll be happy to have something on the resuming Yangtze Rapids.
Yangtze Rapids hasn’t been seen at the races since June, but he returned two competitive efforts in similar races to this.
He’s trialled a couple of times and gets the services of James McDonald today.

Race 2 - 2pm
This is a rise in class for Tudor Music, but she has been excellent back from a spell and is worthy of an opportunity in city company.
The Your Song filly raced consistently last time in, but she clearly took big improvement for her time away from racing, and she has won each of her two starts at Muswellbrook and Scone this time.
Fitter third-up, she looks a touch of overs at around the $9 mark.

Race 3 - 2:35pm
Damaged will take good improvement into his second campaign start today and can record another win.
The Exceed And Excel colt has recorded a win and two placings from his four career starts, and I thought that there was a lot to like about the way he worked home to fill the minors at Canterbury when resuming.

Race 4 - 3:10pm
This looks to be an appropriate drop in class for Home Ground and he can return to winning form.
The High Chaparral gelding finished fifth in the Victoria Derby in 2018 and has continued to improve for his four starts back from a big spell, this time in.
He ran second to Tochi at Canterbury two back and filled the minors of a Saturday city race last time out.
He’ll have the benefit of a claiming apprentice in this saddle for this and he is rock-hard fit. He is my best bet on the program.

Race 5 - 3:45pm
Miyake will resume in the fifth at Warwick Farm this afternoon and will take beating, at a nice price ($4.50 at publish).
The Deep Impact entire stamped himself as a horse to follow in summer, and returned for two starts in late autumn, including an eye-catching win in BM70 company at Canterbury.
He’s drawn to receive a lovely run from gate 3 and has a class edge over these rivals.

Race 6 - 4:20pm
Chalk has returned three competitive efforts this time and is up to winning the penultimate at Warwick Farm on Wednesday, at a price ($20 at publish).
The Canford Cliffs gelding was an eye-catching winner when resuming at Gosford, and while he didn’t quite measure up in a Saturday race at Randwick, he ran home well from the tail of the field to finish a length fifth at Doomben last time out.
He’s weighted well, has a fitness edge over a lot of these and can fight out the finish.

Race 7 - 4:55pm
Willowheart has improved for two starts this time and is ready to win at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.
The I Am Invincible mare has finished midfield in two similar races to this one since resuming, and she has found form around some quality horses.
She might not be offered a better opportunity to win again in city company.
