Peter Moody’s Epsom Handicap Tips

Champion trainer Peter Moody doesn’t have a runner in the Epsom Handicap, but he has found plenty of value in his tips for the Group 1 race.

He has analysed the field and his complete 2020 Epsom Handicap tips are now available.

Winner – Mister Sea Wolf

Mister Sea Wolf is outstanding value at his current quote of $16 in Epsom Handicap betting.

He upstaged a host of more fancied rivals to win the Chelmsford Stakes at Royal Randwick last start and I like the fact that Chris Waller has given him a barrier trial between race starts.

A number of the other fancied runners have drawn poorly, while Mister Sea Wolf maps to get a lovely run in transit with Brenton Avdulla in the saddle.

$16 is enormous overs.

2nd – Star Of The Seas

Star Of The Seas has made a habit of finishing second in Group 1 races and I think that he will do the same in the Epsom Handicap this weekend.

His runs in the Winx Stakes and the George Main Stakes were both full of merit, but he was just unable to get the job done.

Star Of The Seas doesn’t get into this race particularly well in at the weights, but he is a consistent performer and he will be in the finish once again.

3rd – Imaging

This could be Imaging’s chance to claim a maiden win in Australia.

He has been thereabouts in the Missile Stakes, Winx Stakes and the George Main Stakes and the Epsom Handicap has always been his major target.

The wide barrier draw isn’t ideal and he will settle in the second half of the field, but he will be storming home late.

4th – Probabeel

I tipped Probabeel when she got the job done in the Bill Ritchie Handicap and she does have the right profile for an Epsom Handicap winner.

She was the big loser of the barrier draw and that does make her task tough, but there is no doubt she is a talented mare and I think that she is a better chance than Funstar.
