Daily Racing Tips – Monday 1st March

Sapphire Coast - Race 2 2:20pm AEDT

No. 4 Nicci's Song

Nicci’s Song has recorded two wins from her four race starts to date and she is a filly that clearly has plenty of upside.

The way that she put away her rivals at Wagga last start was very impressive and the fact that she is being kept at 1000 metres is a positive.

She will make her own luck right on the speed and is deserving of her status as a clear favourite.

Sapphire Coast - Race 5 4:10pm AEDT

No. 11 Icksta

Icksta has only scored the one race win from his 16 race starts, but this does look like the right race for him.

He returned to the races with a good second behind Super Swish at Sapphire Coast last start and he should take good improvement from that performance.

Barrier three is ideal and he will have every possible chance in the run.

Sapphire Coast - Race 6 4:50pm AEDT

No. 6 Roseirro

Roseirro is deserving of his status as a clear favourite in Merimbula Cup betting.

It has been a while between wins, but he has been racing well in stronger company than this and he wasn’t beaten far behind Global Sanction last start.

There is no horse of that quality in this field and he will have every possible chance to return to winning form.

Sapphire Coast - Race 7 5:30pm AEDT

No. 5 Django Dream

Django Dream claimed a maiden race win in fairly soft fashion at Queanbeyan last start and he looks like a galloper with genuine upside.

The majority of the horses in this field do look to have found their level and if he does show any sort of improvement he should prove tough to beat.
