Devonport - Race 1 12:00pm AEST

No. 8 Van D'oro

Van D’oro has been sent to Tasmania after starting her racing career in Victoria and she is well-placed to make a winning start to her time in the Apple Isle.

She raced well in stronger races than this during her time in Victoria and she clearly does have some ability.

Barrier four suits and she will have every possible chance in the run with Sigrid Carr in the saddle.

Devonport - Race 2 12:36pm AEST

No. 2 Jackjack

Jackjack may never have a better chance to score a maiden race win.

His recent form is better than it looks on paper and his record at Devonport is fair.

He won’t find a weaker field than this one and Daniel Ganderton is the right jockey to get him home.

Devonport - Race 4 1:56pm AEST

No. 14 Iskra

Iskra will need some luck in running from barrier 14, but she is still good enough to win this contest.

This is the first time that he has been sent to Tasmania and on exposed form she does have a genuine class edge over the rest of this field.

She has good synthetic track form in Victoria and she can make a winning start to her time in Tasmania.

Devonport - Race 8 4:27pm AEST

No. 1 Ruettiger

It has been a while between race wins for Ruettiger, but he has an excellent chance to return winning form in this contest.

He has finished second in his past two race starts and he has a great record over this track and distance.

The young apprentice can ride him aggressively in the early stages of this contest and he will have every possible chance to claim another race win.
