Kliment Kolesnikov to Win a Medal @ $2.50

The old splash and dash event should be dominated by Caeleb Dressel but the rest of the podium is wide open.

Kolesnikov sits at $11 to win gold and is an excellent value option to round out the places.

His PB of 21.89 came in April and has impressed in his individual events thus far.

Having picked up a bronze in the 100m and a silver in the 100m backstroke, I’ll back him to get on the podium here.

Basketball: Spain v Slovenia
6.00pm AEST

Slovenia to Cover -3.5 @ $1.95

The man against the team, I’ll back Luka Doncic to go off against a very talented Spanish side.

On paper, Spain has a better team but as we know, basketball is a superstar game and Doncic is the best player on the court.  

Having scored a ridiculous 48 against Argentina, there is no reason he will slow down here.

Athletics: Men’s 100m

Trayvon Bromell to Win Gold @ $1.90

The showpiece of the track and field program looks set to be a race between American Trayvon Bromell and the field.

He heads into the event as a clear favourite with his countryman Ronnie Baker on the second line of betting at $6.00.

As the sprinting specialist, Bromell will learn from his experience finishing 8^th in Rio, and like the rest of the field, enjoy the absence of Usain Bolt.
