Doomben - Race 4 1:48pm AEDT

No. 1 Wisdom of Water

Wisdom of Water was strong through the line when winning the Magic Millions 3YO and 4YO at Wyong last time out, and he should take a power of beating here.

The Headwater entire has only raced at Doomben once in the past, but the fact he’s won three times and placed on three other occasions over this trip speaks for itself.

He’s got a clear class edge over his rivals, and barrier 3 should afford Tommy Berry plenty of options.

Doomben - Race 7 3:48pm AEDT

No. 2 Tiger Heart

Tiger Heart gets another crack at adding a black-type win to his resume following a luckless run last time out in the Golden Edition at Eagle Farm.

Tony Gollan’s three-year-old never got clear when it mattered down the straight, but he can atone from an identical barrier in a race that doesn’t look much tougher.

The son of Better Than Ready has typically done his best racing at Doomben, and his chances will only improve with any rain about.

Doomben - Race 8 4:28pm AEDT

No. 4 Tambo’s Mate

Tambo’s Mate has been uber consistent this time in work rattling off three wins from six attempts.

He got the job done only narrowly over the track and distance earlier in the month, but there’s a good chance he goes on with it now after having a trial in between runs.

The son of Mossman is another one that loves a wet track, and the draw should see him saving his best for late.

Doomben - Race 9 5:08pm AEDT

No. 4 Isotope

Isotope looks the one to beat in what is a very strong edition of the Nudgee Stakes.

The mare by Deep Field resumes at Doomben following a brief but successful autumn campaign that saw her win a Stakes race at Rosehill, followed by a narrow second to Wild Ruler in the Group 2 Arrowfield Sprint.

She flies fresh and handles all going, and from the low draw, Ryan Maloney should plenty of time to get back and run on.
