Monday night brings an intriguing cross-conference matchup between the surging Memphis Grizzlies and the Philadelphia 76ers. The tip-off is scheduled for 7pm ET at Wells Fargo Center.
The Grizz are coming off a dominant 115-95 win over the Washington Wizards behind a 34-piece from All-Star Ja Morant, while the Sixers collected a victory last time out, beating the Sacramento Kings on home court.
This is the second meeting between the two teams this year, with Memphis hammering Joel Embiid and Co. 126-91 in December.

Grizzlies Betting Analysis
If Memphis still had doubters, they’ve likely accepted the fact this team is a legitimate force in the Western Conference odds. At 35-17, the Grizz are in third place and have strung together three wins in a row while going 7-3 in their last 10 contests.
On Saturday, it was another fantastic performance from Taylor Jenkins’ group, with Ja leading the way with 34 points just days after he was named an All-Star Game starter.

Memphis destroyed the Wizards in every single way imaginable, outrebounding them 60-37 and bodying DC inside, outscoring the visitors 60-46. Their hot hand also played a huge part, with the rotation draining 42% of their triples and shooting 46% from the field.
Morant (quietly into the top five in the 2022 NBA MVP odds) had no shortage of help offensively either, with five other players finishing with 10 points or more in the contest.
Desmond Bane continued his impressive sophomore campaign with 19 alongside Ja in the backcourt. There isn’t a lot of teams in the Association who thrive both at home and away, but the Grizzlies are certainly one. They’re 16-8 on the road this season.
76ers Betting Analysis
The Sixers are playing very solid basketball at the moment, winning four straight. They’re right in the mix in the East as well with a 30-19 record, much in part to Joel Embiid’s brilliance in January.
The big man is averaging 34 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 5.1 assists this month alone and has gone for at least 40 in three of his last six games.

Embiid was the star of the show on Saturday against Sacramento, but it wasn’t an easy victory. The Cameroonian scored 36 points while grabbing 12 boards and dishing out six assists, except the 76ers really came out slow in the first half, trailing by 11 points at halftime.
The final two periods were better though, with Tyrese Maxey scoring seven of his 13 points in a crucial stretch in the fourth quarter to give his team a lead for good. On the night, Philadelphia shot a sharp 40% from downtown and over 50% overall.
The Sixers haven’t actually played all that well at home, posting a 13-10 record. Nonetheless, it’s a huge positive they’ve won three straight at Wells Fargo. Doc Rivers’ squad will need to come out with a lot more intensity from the tip on Monday against a Grizzlies team who is full of youth and energy.
Grizzlies vs 76ers Prediction
Both of these teams are clicking right now, but I really like the Grizzlies here. Philadelphia was a bit sloppy against the Kings and I think Memphis’s fast pace style of play will be a key factor.
Plus, they already shellacked the Sixers earlier in the campaign. Take the moneyline.
