No. 1 Monterey Jack

Monterey Jack is in the veteran class, but he’s still racing with plenty of zest, as evidenced by his brave third on this circuit last week after working hard in the run.  He comes up with gate 1 this time around, looks to have the speed to hold the lead and from there he will take plenty of catching.

No. 1 Motu Amethyst

Motu Amethyst broke a run of outs here last week when she was able to lob in behind her stablemate The Ragnbone Man before finishing the race off strongly.  This affair doesn’t appear much harder on paper and with options from the inside alley she has a great chance of going back-to-back.

Redcliffe - Race 4 7:20pm AEST

No. 4 Convair Hustler

Convair Hustler has returned from a break in fine fettle.  He resumed with a solid third at this track from the front end in slick time before being involved in a ballistic first quarter at Albion Park and not disgracing himself to finish fifth.  He’ll find this race right in his wheelhouse and looks a terrific gamble, especially with the strong likelihood he will run to the lead.
