  • The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am tees off Thursday, February 2nd
  • Jordan Spieth is the +850 favorite over Matt Fitzpatrick and Viktor Hovland
  • Below, see the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am odds to win, plus picks and the best-value bets

After Max Homa picked up his sixth PGA Tour title at the Farmers Insurance Open on Saturday, the PGA Tour heads to Pebble Beach, California for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Three courses will be used in the rotation, with the cut coming after 54 holes when everyone has played each track once. Those are Pebble Beach, Spyglass, and Monterey Peninsula.

Unfortunately the field doesn’t boast a ton of star power, with just three of the top-25 golfers in the world teeing it up. Those include betting favorite Jordan Spieth, reigning U.S. Open champion Matt Fitzpatrick and Viktor Hovland. Since it’s a Pro-Am, the celebrities will be out in full force, with the likes of Bill Murray, Josh Allen, Jason Bateman, Ray Romano and many more teeing it up alongside the pros.

Jordan Spieth, who won this tournament in 2017 and was the runner-up last year, is the betting favorite at +850. He’s followed by Matt Fitzpatrick and Viktor Hovland. The fourth choice is Tom Hoge, who outlasted Spieth for his first PGA Tour victory here last season.

Matt Fitzpatrick the Top Ranked Golfer Competing

At #10 in the world, Matt Fitzpatrick is the top ranked golfer teeing it up this week. He’s searching for his second PGA Tour title, after taking the U.S. Open last year. In his last six worldwide events, he has top-25’s in all but one of them. That includes a runner-up in Italy, a T-5th at the DP World Tour Championship and T-7th at the year-opening Sentry Tournament of Champions.

Matt Fitzpatrick’s Strokes Gained Stats Last 36 Rounds

Total Off-The-Tee Short Game Tee-To-Green Putting Ball Striking
1 3 7 9 9 15

In 2022, he looked very comfortable around the three courses at Pebble Beach, where he wound up in a tie for sixth. Jordan Spieth’s even greater success has him as the betting favorite, but at +1000, Fitzpatrick is most certainly a worthy candidate to raise the trophy come Sunday evening.

Past Five AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Winners

Year Winner
2022 Tom Hoge
2021 Daniel Berger
2020 Nick Taylor
2019 Phil Mickelson
2018 Ted Potter Jr.

2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Picks and Value Bets

  1. Maverick McNealy (+2200): Maverick McNealy hasn’t won on tour, but he continues to be on the periphery of picking up that elusive title. In 2021, he very nearly did that at the AT&T, finishing second to Daniel Berger. In the last 24 rounds, he’s first in strokes gained: short game and putting, and second in total strokes gained. In his last ten starts, he’s been no worse than 32nd, apart from one missed cut. In that span, McNealy has three top-10’s, including the recently contested Sony Open.
  2. Joel Dahmen (+4000): Joel Dahmen, the newly minted first-time father, finished 2022 in style, racking up three straight top-10 results to end the campaign, including a tie for third in Mexico. In the last 24 rounds on tour, he’s tops in total strokes gained. Last year he was T-6th at this event.
  3. Kevin Streelman (+9000): Kevin Streelman has won the Pro-Am portion of this event twice, and has also nearly won the main tournament. In 2020, he was the runner-up, and he had a pair of top-10’s here in 2018 and 2019. In the last twelve rounds at Pebble, he’s tops in total strokes gained, tee-to-green, and ball striking. He’s an intriguing option in the top 10/20 markets.
