Daily Racing Tips – Monday 1st May

Ipswich - Race 2 12:57pm AEDT

No. 3 Bring Me Kash

Bring Me Kash is a lightly-raced three-year-old with plenty of upside.

He won quite well on debut by over two lengths at Gatton last year and went on with the job in equally impressive style at the Sunshine Coast a few weeks later.

This distance range is in his wheelhouse first-up and he should roll straight to the front and make his presence felt on speed.

Ipswich - Race 6 3:27pm AEDT

No. 2 Reformist

Reformist was knocking on the door earlier in his prep before struggling in the late stages at Kensington last time out.

The Dissident six-year-old loomed at the top of the straight but just lacked a turn of foot when it mattered most, but I think he’s worth forgiving after finding the money in his previous three starts.

This is also a much easier assignment, and with fitness on his side, he should be hard to hold out coming off a break.

Ipswich - Race 7 4:08pm AEDT

No. 1 Nishikori

Nishikori strips fitter for three runs back and appears well-placed.

He made up good ground in the run home at Eagle Farm over a touch further last time out and has found the money in all three starts at Ipswich.

Any extra rain about will strengthen his chances.

Ipswich - Race 8 4:43pm AEDT

No. 4 Hakkai Maru

Hakkai Maru was beaten only 1.6 lengths at Doomben first-up, a race he probably would have won if he had more fitness on his side.

His condition just gave way in the late stages, but I think he warrants careful consideration having won his maiden by a huge margin at this stage of his preparation a couple of years ago.

The soft conditions will be to his liking and he just needs a touch of early luck from the wide gate.
