The match will be played in Atlanta, on a pitch that was criticized by Argentina after the opening match of the tournament against Canada. USA shut out Bolivia in the opening match, but Bolivia ranks No. 84 in the FIFA World Rankings. Panama is a much tougher challenge for the No. 11-ranked USMNT, checking in at No. 43 in the world. Still, there’s a big gap in quality. Team USA didn’t have what many considered to be a “great” performance against Bolivia, leaving a lot to be desired.

Still, Christian Pulisic scored in the third minute and Folarin Balogun added a second goal just before halftime. I predict the US will find a groove in this game, settling into the tournament and looking sharp from the opening whistle.
