Though the Pacers and Knicks are still contesting Game 6 of the Eastern Conference final, Indiana’s lead is large enough that sportsbooks have opened odds for a 2025 NBA Finals series between the Pacers (62-35, 47-48-2) and the Western Conference-champion Oklahoma City Thunder (80-18, 59-35-4 ATS).

The best-of-seven series will commence on with Game 1 on June 5 in Oklahoma City. The Thunder blitzed the West, needing just 15 games to advance to the NBA Finals, and they have opened as massive favorites in the NBA championship odds. Whichever team wins will be celebrating the first NBA title in franchise history.

The Thunder won both regular-season meetings with the Pacers, covering the spread in both, as well. OKC earned a 120-114 road win on Dec. 26 as five-point road chalk. They also took a 132-111 rout at home on March 29 as 8.5-point home favorites. The meeting in Indianapolis landed on 234 points against a total of 227, while the rematch in OKC hit 243 points against a total of 234.

Indiana won 126-112 at home on April 5, 2024, as 6.5-point underdogs, and 121-111 on the road on March 12, 2024, as 5.5-point underdogs. The April meeting also went over the total meaning that OKC and Indiana enter the 2025 NBA Finals on a three-game over streak against one another.
