There isn’t a ton of drama around who the Dallas Mavericks will take with the first-overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. But there is plenty of intrigue further down the board and, with the start of the draft less than 24 hours away, it’s time to take one final look at the NBA Draft odds for each of the top-ten picks.

The table below lists every player on the board alongside their odds to go first through tenth.

Asa Newell +7500 +7500
Liam McNeeley +7500
Nique Clifford +10000
Will Riley +10000 +10000
Rasheer Fleming +10000

The biggest favorite on the board in any market is Duke’s Cooper Flagg to go first overall at -20000, which is a 99.5% implied probability. Rutgers star Dylan Harper is a massive favorite to go second overall, as well, as -8000 (98.77%). The Spurs currently hold the #2 pick.

Indeed, each of the first four picks in the draft has an odds-on favorite, with Baylor’s VJ Edgecombe -275 to go third (73.33) to the 76ers, and Duke’s Kon Knueppel -145 to go fourth (59.18%) to the Hornets.

Of the 23 players in the table above, all but four are freshman (or freshman-aged and playing overseas). The exceptions are South Carolina sophomore Collin Murray-Boyles, Washington State senior Cedric Coward, Colorado State senior Nique Clifford, and Saint Joe’s junior Rasheer Fleming

I recognize that the table above is a bit of a beast and somewhat tricky to navigate, so I’ve compiled a second table which lists the favorite at each of the top-ten draft positions.

Betting Favorite for Each Top-Ten Pick

Draft Position Favorite Odds Team
1st Cooper Flagg (Duke) -20000 Mavericks
2nd Dylan Harper (Rutgers) -8000 Spurs
3rd VJ Edgecombe (Baylor) -275 76ers
4th Kon Knueppel (Duke) -145 Hornets
5th Tre Johnson (Texas) +190 Jazz
6th Ace Bailey (Rutgers) +150 Wizards
7th Jeremiah Fears (Oklahoma) +140 Pelicans
8th Noa Essengue (Bundesliga) +370 Nets
9th Khaman Maluach (Duke) +180 Raptors
10th Derik Queen (Maryland) +370 Rockets

Once we get to pick #5, oddsmakers start to have doubts. Texas two-guard Tre Johnson is a tepid +190 favorite (34.48%) to go fifth overall to the Jazz, followed closely by Oklahoma point guard Jeremiah Fears at +275 (26.67%).

At #6, Rutgers wing Ace Bailey is a +150 favorite (40%) to go to the Wizards, with Fears again the second-favorite at +210 (32.26%).

Fears is the outright favorite to go seventh overall to the Pelicans at +140 (41.67%), followed by Duke center Khaman Maluach at +350 (22.22%). Interestingly, in the NBA draft position over/under Fears is slightly favored to go sixth or earlier (-125).
