Home Run Props to Bet Today – Get a +1318 HR Parlay on Monday, July 28th

  • We’ve got a full MLB slate to attack on Monday, July 28
  • There is no way for the books to avoid our dinger wrath on a day like today
  • See below for my +1318 home run parlay today

We made it through the weekend, and we’ve been gifted a sweet, sweet MLB slate for our efforts. We don’t always get this many games on Mondays, so we should count our blessings. I like to do that by betting dingers. Today we’ve got an opportunity at Caesars. We can still get loose at any book with these dinger bets, but the good people at Caesars have passed out a 100% profit boost. Anytime that happens, it means we can bet chalk, which is fun from time to time. It’s tough to take guys at +135, but when we have a 100% profit boost, it makes it a little easier. Lucky for us, I’ve already gone through the slate for tonight, and I’ve found two absolute chalk guys that we know for a fact are going yard. We just have to throw the boost on them and watch the cash roll in. Feels easy.

Please remember if you’re going to play these two bets, play both legs straight for a 1/4 unit as well as a 1/2 unit two-leg parlay. That way, you’re only risking one unit, and you’ll profit with just one player going yard.

MLB Home Run Parlay Today (July 28)

Pick Odds
Nick Kurtz HR +235
Shohei Ohtani HR +135
Two-Leg Parlay +1318 (with boost at Caesars)

Altogether, both legs of today’s home run parlay generate +1318 odds at Caesars, meaning a $100 bet would profit $1,318 if both legs hit.

HR Parlay Leg #1 – Nick Kurtz to Hit a Home Run

I like to use my 100% profit boosts on chalk, and that is what we are doing today. Eating chalk. One thing the haters forget is that the reason why guys’ odds are nuked is because they hit bombs. The books don’t just chalk guys because they want to. They’re chalk because they are good.

Take Nick Kurtz for example. The guy should be -150 tonight given the pitch mix he’ll see.

Pitch Kurtz ISO vs RHP (2025) Castillo ISO vs RHB (2025)
Four-seam Fastball .457 .155
Slider .667 .172

The haters are going to say that Kurtz is going to get walked all the time now that he hit four bombs in a game, but that’s just not how this game we play works. Kurtz is going to see Luis Castillo tonight, and Luis challenges everyone. He’s earned the right since he’s only given up 12 dongs this season in 120 innings of work. Still, his fastball gets cranked by lefties, as well as his four-seamer. My guess is he tries Kurtz just to see what’s what and gets hit to Mars. Feels right.

HR Parlay Leg #2 – Shohei Ohtani to Hit a Home Run

Another chalk guy we have on tonight’s slate is Shohei Ohtani. Maybe you’ve heard of him. He’s basically the Japanese Babe Ruth, capable of hitting anyone over any fence. Just when you think you’ve seen his furthest bomb, he hits another ball even further.

Lucky for us, he’s hitting in a very friendly environment tonight while seeing a pitch mix he smashes.

Pitch Ohtani ISO vs RHP (L30 Days) Burns ISO vs LHB (2025)
Four-seam Fastball .265 .038
Slider .581 .438

The haters are going to say he’s up against Chase Burns, but whatever. I’m a Chase Burns guy. Always have been but one thing about Chase is, he can get hit over the fence by lefties. He’s already given up three bombs to lefties, and he’s only seen 55 of them. Now he gets the ultimate lefty in Shohei Ohtani. Couple that with the fact that Burns doesn’t have a very deep arsenal so Shohei can just wait for his set to roll in. I think he hits a dong in his first at bat. Feels right.

  • The Bet: Shohei Ohtani to Hit a Home Run (+135) at Caesars
