MLB Home Run Picks & Predictions for Dinger Tuesday (July 29)

  • We have reached another Dinger Tuesday at FanDuel
  • FanDuel users can choose between a no-sweat home run bet and a 50% profit boost
  • I won two home run bets last Dinger Tuesday, so keep reading to see my best home run picks for July 29

It’s the best day of the week to bet on home runs at FanDuel. All users (new and existing) have a choice between two home run promotions on this Dinger Tuesday. They can either claim a no-sweat home run bet where they will get a bonus bet back if their home run bet loses, or they can claim a 50% profit boost to use on any player to hit a home run tonight.

Not only are all 30 MLB teams in action today, but with a Blue Jays vs Orioles doubleheader, there are 16 games to choose from. The possibilities are endless on this Dinger Tuesday.

Last Tuesday, I hit a +600 home run bet and a +400 home run bet. See below for my favorite home run picks and predictions for tonight.

Home Run Picks Today

I have three MLB home run picks today, July 29.

Player Odds Sportsbook Start Time
Adolis Garcia +630 FanDuel Sportsbook 9:38 pm ET
Vinnie Pasquantino +520 FanDuel Sportsbook 7:40 pm ET
Jorge Polanco +470 FanDuel Sportsbook 10:05 pm ET

Home Run Pick #1: Adolis Garcia (+630 at FanDuel with 50% Profit Boost)

My favorite home run pick of the day is Adolis Garcia. Garcia is +420 at FanDuel to hit a home run, but after using the 50% Dinger Tuesday profit boost, he is now +630. That is incredible odds for a player with his power.

Garcia has 14 home runs on the season, and now he has a great matchup against the Angels and Yusei Kikuchi. In his career against Kikuchi, Garcia is 4-15 with two home runs. Angel Stadium is also fourth in ballpark factor for right-handed batters.

Kikuchi has struggled to keep the ball in play and just gave up two home runs in his last start. In his last three home starts, Kikuchi has allowed five homers. 15 of the 16 homers he has given up have been to right-handed hitters.

Garcia has a hit in six of his last nine games and has a home run during that span. He has an exit velocity of 92.5 and a 48% hard-hit rate.

He might only have two home runs against lefties this season, but I am going to trust his history against Kikuchi in a ballpark where he has already homered this season. At +630, Garcia is a great option to go yard tonight.

Home Run Pick #2: Vinnie Pasquantino (+520 at FanDuel)

My next home run prediction is Vinnie Pasquantino. The Braves traded for Erick Fedde, who is one of my favorite pitchers to bet against with home run props. Fedde has allowed four home runs in his last two starts and eight in his last five.

Lefties have hit 10 of the 14 homers that Fedde has given up this season and are slugging .495 against him.

Pasquantino has 17 home runs in 2025, and 13 of them have come against right-handed pitching. He has a 90.5 exit velocity, so Pasquantino has a great chance of hitting a home run tonight against a struggling pitcher.

Home Run Pick #3: Jorge Polanco (+470 at FanDuel)

My last home run pick for Dinger Tuesday is Jorge Polanco against the Athletics.

Luis Severino takes the mound for the A’s, and he has struggled at home. He has given up at least one home run in three of his last four home starts, and he has a 6.68 home ERA. Eight of the 13 home runs that he has allowed this season have come at home. The Athletics’ bullpen has also struggled, giving up the fourth-most bullpen home runs this year.

Polanco has had success against Severino in his career, going 6-14 (.429) with a home run.

15 of Polanco’s 16 homers have come against righties, and he has been seeing the ball well. He has at least one hit in 12 of his last 15 games and has four home runs during that stretch. Polanco has an exit velocity of 90.5 and a 44.2% hard-hit rate, making him a great option to go yard at a minor league ballpark tonight.
