A game with massive playoff implications takes place at crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Wednesday night as the LA Sparks (16-18, 6-10 home, 15-18-1 ATS) host the Dallas Wings (9-26, 4-13 away, 17-18 ATS) at 7:00 pm PT/10:00 pm ET.
The injury-riddled Wings, who have managed just one win in their last eight games, are big road underdogs on Wednesday, despite LA’s brutal 6-10 SU record at home this season.

The Wings/Sparks point spread is as low as LA -8.0 (-108) at FanDuel and as high as DAL +8.5 (-115) at BetMGM and DraftKings. The best moneyline price on the Sparks is -350 at bet365 and FanDuel. DraftKings has the longest odds on a Dallas win at +280. The total also shows a half-point range. The best over option is 183.0 (-110) at bet365. The best under option is 183.5 (-110) at BetMGM.

Trailing Seattle by one game for the eighth and final playoff berth in the WNBA, the Sparks are currently listed at +170 to make the playoffs at FanDuel. They’re also 1.5 games behind expansion franchise Golden State, which currently holds the #7 seed.
The Sparks fell Washington (95-86) last time out, which allowed the tenth-place Mystics to pull within half-a-game of LA in the standings, though LA has a game in hand. Sunday’s setback continued a string of seven straight games alternating wins and losses for the Sparks.
The Wings fell to the Aces on Sunday (106-87) despite a 23-point night from Maddy Siegrist (11.8 PPG, 4.6 RG).
DAL Wings vs LA Sparks Player Props
The teams’ leading scorers, Paige Bueckers (18.8 PPG, 4.1 RPG, 5.4 APG) and Kelsey Plum (20.4 PPG, 3.3 RPG, 6.1 APG), both have a point total of 19.5 O/U, though Plum is a slight -125 to hit the over and Bueckers is a slight -120 favorite to stay under. Plum has scored at least 20 points in four straight games and ten of the last 12.
Soon-to-be Rookie of the Year Buckers has reached the 20-point plateau in five of her last eight, but only one of the last four.

These teams met in Dallas just five days ago, with Dallas pushing LA to the brink in a narrow 87-86 Sparks victory. Buckers had a massive 29-point night on 12-of-21 shooting, but was counteracted by a 28-point night from Plum on 9-of-17 shooting from the field (including 3-of-5 from beyond the arc).
That narrow loss for Dallas came without two significant contributors – guard Arike Ogunbowale (15.5 PPG, 2.5 RPG, 4.1 APG) and center Li Yueru (7.4 PPG, 5.8 RPG) – who remain out on Wednesday night. The absence of 6’7 Yueru has certainly had a negative impact on Dallas’ interior rebounding production, but they’ve always been more of a rebound-by-committee team regardless, and they currently sit third in the WNBA in REB% at 51.5%.
Dallas managed to keep Friday’s game close despite finishing -11 on the glass, a stat line that isn’t likely to repeat against an LA team that sits just seventh in REB% (50.2%).
In addition to Dallas ATS, I’m also betting the two stars to keep up their scoring tears. Plum should have another field day against a Wings team that sits 10th in D-Rating at 108.0, which is only 1.8 better than last-place Chicago. Bueckers should do likewise against an LA defense that rates even worse (109.1, 12th in the 13-team league).
