The Los Angeles Dodgers (105-73, 47-40 away) staved off elimination on Friday night, forcing a winner-take-all Game 7 with the Toronto Blue Jays (103-75, 59-31 home) in the 2025 World Series. The final game to the season will take place at the Rogers Centre in Toronto at 8:00 pm ET on Saturday, November 1st.

The opening Dodgers/Blue Jays moneyline for Game 7 lists Los Angeles as a -137 favorite (57.81% implied win probability). Toronto comes back as a +112 underdog (47.17% implied win probability).

Prior to Game 6, the Blue Jays were as short as -260 (% implied win probability) in the World Series odds before Game 6. The Dodgers’ price to repeat as champs had grown as long as +210.

No team has repeated as World Series champions since the New YorK Yankees in 2000, their final title in a three-peat.

Tyler Glasnow worked one inning of relief on Friday night, getting a three-out save on just three pitches. It’s unclear if he’s still going to start on Saturday, or if Dave Roberts will bump Ohtani up a day in the rotation.

Glasnow had by far his worst outing of the postseason in Game 3, lasting just 4.2 innings while giving up four runs (two earned) on five hits and three walks with five strikeouts. Prior, he had allowed just one run in 13.1 innings during the 2025 playoffs.

Alejandro Kirk had the lone home run off Glasnow, a three-run show in the top of the fourth that gave Toronto a 3-2 lead. The Dodgers went onto win an instant classic 6-5 in 18 innings.

Max Scherzer’s Game 2 line was similar to Glasnow’s. He lasted 4.1 innings while allowing three runs (all earned) on five hits and a walk with just three Ks. Teoscar Hernandez and Shohei Ohtani both took him deep with one-run shots in the second and third, respectively.
