Friday’s World Cup slate offers a fascinating card filled with heavy favorites, desperate underdogs, and massive playoff implications. The June 18 schedule starts with USA vs Australia in Seattle (3:00 pm ET) before Scotland vs Morocco in Boston (6:00 pm ET), Brazil vs Haiti in Philadelphia (8:30 pm ET) and, finally, Turkiye vs Paraguay in San Francisco (11:00 pm ET).
As I have done for every game of the tournament, I fed all four matches into our predictive A.I. model and asked for its top +EV pick. The table below summarizes the World Cup computer picks for June 19. Under the table, I have set out the A.I.’s explanation for each selection, along with one-click options to tail the bets.
World Cup Picks & Computer Predictions Today (June 19)
The model is targeting three moneyline favorites on Friday, plus Brazil to stuff the net against overmatched Haiti.
At the time of writing, the model is 12-12 on its World Cup picks (-0.15 units on 1-unit wagers).
USA vs Australia A.I. Pick: USA Moneyline 62¢ (-163) at Kalshi
A.I. explanation: “The United States enters this matchup as a deserving favorite, backed by both historical precedent and dominant underlying metrics in the current tournament. The play here is the USA moneyline, and Kalshi’s 62¢ price is a slight improvement over the -165 price available at traditional sportsbooks. Through one match, the USA maintained a 63% average possession rate while generating a massive 17 total shots to score four goals.
While Australia secured a 2-0 win in their opening fixture, they managed only 37% possession and eight total shots. Expect USA to dominate the ball once again, using a fast-break transition offense to isolate defenders and secure the outright victory.”
Scotland vs Morocco A.I. Pick: Morocco Moneyline 57¢ (-133) at Kalshi
A.I. explanation: “Scotland technically holds the better defensive record through one game, but the shot-creation metrics heavily favor the North Africans. The model is backing the Morocco moneyline, with Kalshi’s 57¢ contract price narrowly beating the -135 payout at online sportsbooks.
Scotland grinded out a 1-0 victory in their opening match but did so with a modest offensive output of just eight total shots. Morocco was held to a 1-1 draw in their first game despite showing far more attacking intent. The Moroccan side generated 13 total shots, putting four on target against much stiffer competition in Brazil. Morocco’s ability to consistently crash the box gives them a distinct edge over a Scottish side that struggles to dictate flow.”
Brazil vs Haiti A.I. Pick: Brazil -2.5 Handicap 51¢ (-104) at Kalshi
A.I. explanation: “The best play in Brazil vs Haiti is laying 2.5 goals with the favorites, which Kalshi offers at a 51¢ (-104) price, considerably better than the -115 odds at sportsbooks.
Brazil thrives on dismantling defensive lines and exploiting individual matchups. Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior leads an attack that will relentlessly pressure the Caribbean block. With Brazil scoring at least once in nine consecutive matches, expect Carlo Ancelotti’s squad to dictate the tempo and cover the handicap due to the sheer discrepancy in personnel.”
Turkiye vs Paraguay A.I. Pick: Turkiye Moneyline (+105) at DraftKings
A.I. explanation: “This fixture presents one of the most glaring statistical discrepancies on the board, offering excellent value at plus-money. Take the +105 Turkiye moneyline at DraftKings, which edges out Kalshi’s 49¢ price. Turkiye enters this match with a 0-2 goal difference, but the underlying numbers suggest they were incredibly unlucky. They controlled the pitch, holding 63% possession and unleashing a staggering 28 total shots against Australia.
Paraguay’s defense was completely dismantled in their first match, conceding four goals in a lopsided defeat. The South Americans looked equally disjointed in attack, managing just 37% possession. If Turkiye can replicate their shot volume, positive regression is inevitable.”
