theScore Bet and the Canadian Football League announced a new multi-year partnership on the heels of the gaming operator’s launch into Alberta.

The Canadian Football League (CFL) and theScore Bet’s new partnership designates the gaming operator as an official authorized gaming operator and official sports betting and online casino partner of the football league in Ontario and Alberta. The CFL and theScore Bet announced the partnership one week after the launch of Alberta sports betting apps in the province.

“The CFL occupies a special place in Canadian sports culture, making this a natural partnership for theScore Bet and theScore,” Justin Hergianto, Vice President of Marketing, PENN Interactive, said in a press release. “As Canada’s Sportsbook, we’re proud to partner with Canada’s League to create more connected experiences for fans. Whether they’re following scores and breaking news in theScore, managing their fantasy team or placing a bet through theScore Bet, we’re making it easier than ever for fans to engage with the CFL throughout the season.”

Official Betting Partner

Through the new partnership, theScore Bet is now an official sports betting and online casino partner and an official authorized gaming operator of the CFL. Additionally, theScore, the company’s sports media app, will expand its relationship with the CFL across North American through expanded content, fan engagement, and digital experiences.

The partnership also includes integrated betting odds, scoreboard sponsorship across CFL.ca and LCF.ca, broadcast and in-stadium branding, digital media activations and contests, throughout the CFL’s upcoming season and 113th Grey Cup in Calgary.

The scoreBet is now the presenting partner of the all-new CFL Fantasy game and the new CFL mobile app launching this upcoming fall.

“Alberta is home to some of the most passionate football fans in Canada, making this an exciting time to welcome theScore Bet to our CFL family of partners,” Tyler Keenan, CFL Chief Revenue Officer, said in a press release. “With Calgary set to host the 113th Grey Cup, this partnership creates even more opportunities for fans to engage with our game and be part of the excitement. Together, we’ll create innovative ways for fans to follow, experience and celebrate CFL football.”
